In our previous newsletter, we informed you of our plans to create a storage site for dangerous goods. We have already started the licensing process and entered into discussions with various partners including the Roermond municipal autorities, but were interested to discover just how great a need there is for this type of storage facility. We are pleased with the number of responses we received and can therefore report that we plan to continue with this project.
We have called upon the services of an external consultancy firm to help us in this matter. After the positive outcome of this survey, we are now proceeding to the next step. As we will be following several tracks at the same time, we can expect to achieve a realistic plan in which the storage site for dangerous goods should be ready within 18 months.
Despite our intensive efforts in this area, we are aware that 18 months is still a long time. We will provide you with regular updates of our progress via this newsletter.
