As part of its commitment to sustainable business practices, Transcargo BV is taking part in Lean & Green, an initiative for sustainable logistics with the aim of minimising CO2 emissions. We have already taken several measures such as fitting LED lights in our warehouses and recently in our offices as well.
At the moment, we are looking into how we can replace our six LPG powered forklift trucks with electric models. At the end of next year, we will assess the effects of these measures and may then take further steps such as installing solar panels.
