The kick-off for ISO 9001 certification was last September. We expect the audit to take place by March 2015 at the latest and that Transcargo will then officially be ISO 9001 certified.
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management. It is used to assess whether an organization is able to satisfy the requirements of clients, legislation, regulations, and the demands of the organization itself. An independent external party, in our case TÜV, determines whether the quality management system of the organization satisfies all requirements.
Despite the fact that within Transcargo we have been working with clearly defined procedures and rigid processes for many years, we expect this certification to allow us to satisfy the wishes and requirements of our clients even better.
