Due to increased workloads for both the Planning department and Sales department, we have expanded the two departments. Paco Romano has come to reinforce our team of planners and we are delighted to welcome Mariska as an Assistant Inside Sales Agent for the Sales department. We will introduce our new colleagues to you in the coming newsletters.
We are seeing a clear increase in activities in our Planning department, which can partly be attributed to our new Roermond - Barcelona and Roermond - Madrid scheduled services. Expanding our team will enable us to guarantee the service you have come to expect.
The Sales department has also noticed a huge increase in the number of transport requests. In the first half of 2011, we received just as many requests as for the whole of 2010. Because we now have Mariska in our team, we are able to provide our customers with a quote within a few hours.
The department has also grown in the literal sense. Minor renovations have given us some welcome extra space so we can set up the two new workplaces as quickly and efficiently as possible.
