The French "Ecotaxe" will shortly be levied on the country's national and departmental roads. This means that Euro 5 trucks, such as those used by Transcargo, will be subject to a charge of EUR 0.146 per kilometre on those roads affected. We have naturally prepared for this and have already installed the required on-board units. Together with the increase in toll payments for motorways introduced in 2013 and the increase announced for 2014, this will certainly have important consequences for rates to France as well as destinations requiring travel through France.
