One of the services offered by Transcargo BV is the arrangement of transport to and from all European countries. In this newsletter we will discuss our transport activities to and from Switzerland.
On average, we organise transport to Switzerland four times a week. This is a country that requires more knowledge and experience of customs regulations than any other country in Europe. Fortunately, we have this knowledge in-house! At Transcargo BV, Harrie Reijnders is entirely familiar with all of the ins and outs of the legislation and regulations concerning transport to Switzerland.
In order to keep everything on track, we have been working with Swiss Freight Logistics and General Transport for many years now.
Despite the numerous, stringent rules imposed by the Swiss, such as vehicle dimensions, the night-time ban on driving, more difficult routes and customs issues, we are able to make fast deliveries. We work on the basis of loading day A and unloading day B or C.
Transport to Switzerland is mainly by road and involves both complete loads as well as groupage shipments.
