Transcargo BV organises transport to and from all European countries. Hereby we will discuss our transport activities to and from France.
Almost 90% of all our shipments to France are organised with self-employed drivers. The advantage is that they often know the customers personally and have a good knowledge of French. Furthermore, the freight is taken directly to its final destination. Every day, vehicles leave Roermond for various destinations in France.
The other 10% are predominantly city and just-in-time deliveries. As smaller vehicles provide the best and fastest method of reaching these destinations, we work together with a regular partner that has a national network covering France. They take over the distribution from us at a fixed location.
